Handy is from Arcahaie where his mother and three siblings live. His mother ran into us one day when we took the kids to the beach and was eager to get Handy in school and around others who can sign. Handy has never seen his father so the male figures in the home are very important to him. He is frequently visited by his grandmother, who truly loves him. Handy appears to have some kind of physical abnormality in his legs, but it does not inhibit his daily activities. Handy is an exceptionally loving little boy with a sweet smile.
